Biography

Dr. Ben Bigbie grew up in Ardmore, OK before moving to Norman in high school. He graduated from Norman North High School and attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated Summa cum Laude. He then went to the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he graduated with special distinction and as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his board exams, scoring in the top 1% of students nationwide. He was then accepted into dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Bigbie trained with Dr. Scott Meyers in Tulsa, OK for a year in the Mohs technique and facial reconstruction. After spending two years in Tulsa, he decided to open the Skin Cancer Center in Norman. He has completed thousands of Mohs surgery cases and performs the reconstruction on the same day 99% of the time.

During his free time, Dr. Bigbie enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and friends at OU sporting events. He also enjoys time at the beach, snow skiing in the winter, and traveling to Yellowstone with his wife. Their children, Poppy and Ben, and french bulldog, Bear, keep Amber and him busy throughout the year.
